The month of August is the official month of American Artist Appreciation. In this month, fellow artist and those in observance of the celebration, acknowledge writers, painters, musicians, and all types of artists for their ability to create different variations of expressing mind, body, and spirit. Being that Nine5Four The Magazine represents the face of new and upcoming artist, it is more than appropriate to take part in this observation.
Up and coming musical artists such as Brisco, Ace Hood, and BallGreezy have graced the covers of Nine5Four The Magazine showing that hard work, persistence and determination to succeed can go a long way. These artists have major records that are on constant replay in local and national radio stations. All three of these artists represent Dade & Broward County areas of Florida and do so in an amazing way. Already collaborating with well known artists such as DJ Khaled and T-Pain, Ace Hood shows a bright future ahead of him. The fact that he’s surrounding himself with other successful artists is not the only reason why this young man has become so big. His flow and attitude of representing where he comes from also contributes to the overwhelming fan base he’s establishing with young people. Fellow artist, Brisco, has also established a fan base with young people. We seem to be attracted to his “Imma Do Me” attitude. He’s shown through his rhymes and swagger that he is a leader and does things out of the ordinary of other rap artists. Mr. Shone, best known as BallGreezy, made the party scene for teenagers more live and exciting with his creative way of spotlighting our well known terms and lingo for others to comprehend. These artists have brought so much to this young generation and for that, we appreciate them.
Little do people know, modeling is an art and those that have the ability to capture amazing pictures are artists as well. Nine5Four The Magazine illustrates the art that photographers capture throughout our issues each month. Every month we feature a model and promote their talent and present an interview explaining bits of their life experiences and goals they hope to achieve. Nine5Four The Magazine also allows new and upcoming writers to build experience and express themselves through informative selections such as interviews, overviews, and creative writing. We feature a section of the magazine where creative writers can share their work and express themselves. Personally, I appreciate the fact that I’m able to share Teen Thoughts with readers to read and take an interest in. Weather my readers be fellow teens, older sisters or brothers, or parents, I’m very grateful for the opportunity that this magazine gives to me to express myself each month.
