Just as Kool Herc is credited in America as being a founding father of hip hop, a DJ by the name of Leron Teeni is given the same sort of credit with being the jump starter of the hip hop scene in Israel in the mid 1990s.
Hip Hop culture first appeared in Brazil in the early 80s a little after hip hop appeared in the U.S. São Paulo was the most prominent location for Hip Hop when it first came out. So how did hip hop get spread around Brazil?
