“You Can’t Help It”

Not knowing what you want doesn’t equal having what you need,
It means you’re looking for something you never had.

Not hiding what you feel, you’re an open book I read,
You look satisfied, but when I turn the page you’re sad.


This world is full of shadows, though it’s hard for you to hide,
If the sun shines over here, it must be dark on you’re side.

It’s the system of this universe, there’s sunshine and rain,
People are into it together share love but also pain.


Love often hurts, though you can’t love the pain,
You couldn’t choose who to like, still you could give them a chance.

See many people cheat, they forgot life isn’t a game,
It’s hard for them to step up when there’s a psychological fence


Can’t climb it with your muscles and your spirit is weak,
Locking up your mental problems, they plead the fif’, now you can’t speak.

They look at what you say and listen at what you do,
The actions of a fool can’t be explained ‘cause their reality isn’t true.


You can’t sleep it’s cold and your pillow is as hard as a rock,
You haven’t slept for days you’re messed up and you’re still in a shock.

Couldn’t figure out how to live, so your hope is out of sight,
Tried to avoid what is wrong , still you forgot about right.

You’re hopeless, now you’re trying to get your life on track,
But instead of looking forward, you’re looking for where it began.

Thought the world would be soft for the weak n cut you some slack,
People like you tend to keep on looking, so they’ll forget to listen.
